Our Vision
To pioneer next-generation spintronic and intelligent memory technologies that power energy-efficient computing architectures and advanced biomedical sensing systems worldwide.
Our Mission
Bridging fundamental physics with industrial innovation through micro- and nano-fabrication, advanced device modeling, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver transformative technologies.
About IMS Laboratory
The Laboratory of Intelligent Materials and Systems (IMS Lab) at Nanyang Technological University Singapore , develops advanced materials and devices for AI hardware and next-generation computing.
Our research focuses on non-volatile memory, spintronics, in-memory and neuromorphic computing, and intelligent sensing, with emphasis on energy-efficient and scalable device technologies. We combine fundamental device physics with modelling, micro- and nano-fabrication, and advanced magnetic and electronic characterisation.
A key strength of the lab is translational research, including the development and integration of emerging memory technologies on 300 mm silicon wafers, in close collaboration with leading semiconductor industry partners and international research institutes.
